FAQ on classes

Can I bring my kid/teenager, or is there an age limit?

Because we’re working in a real commercial kitchen full of roaring ovens, sharp tools, and flying flour, this class is strict on safety. It’s strictly for booked adults aged 18 and over—so leave the kids at home and treat yourself to some peaceful, child-free baking!

How many people are in each class?

We keep things cozy and hands-on! Classes run with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 fellow dough enthusiasts.

Can you accommodate gluten allergies, coeliac disease, or other allergens?

Let’s be honest: we live, breathe, and sweat gluten here. Our bakery handles Cereals Containing Gluten, Dairy, Eggs, Celery, Soya, Mustard, Nuts, Peanuts, and Sesame Seeds daily. If you have coeliac disease or a severe gluten allergy, our kitchen is definitely not the place for you. Flour practically floats in the air!

What time does the class start, and when should I arrive?

Start times vary depending on the session, so double-check the specific time listed on your booking before you head out! We recommend rolling up about 10-15 minutes early so we can get you settled.

What should I wear, and what do I need to bring?

Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes (no sandals or heels!) and clothes you don't mind getting covered in flour as this is a proper hands-on workout. Other than your love for carbs, you don't need to bring a thing.

Is there parking nearby, or can I get there via public transport?

Yes! You can park at the bakery! You'll need to drive and park or get dropped off and picked up like a VIP.

Is the bakery accessible for wheelchair users or those with mobility needs?

While our shopfront is accessible, our industrial kitchen space sadly wasn't built with wheelchair access in mind. Please keep in mind you will also be on your feet for most of the class!

Are food and drinks provided?

Absolutely! We’ll keep your energy up with coffee, refreshments, and a light break during the session.

Do I get to take home everything I bake?

You sure do! You’ll be walking out the door loaded down with a glorious stash of fresh, homemade bread. Bring a big bag!

Do we get recipe sheets to take home?

You get way more than that! We’ll send you home with a full digital info pack loaded with step-by-step recipes, tips, and extra notes so you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen.

Will I get some of your sourdough starter to take home?

Yes! You’ll get a pot of our legendary sourdough starter to take home, feed, and keep alive for years to come.

Are aprons and equipment provided?

Yep, we’ve got you covered! All aprons, tools, and ingredients are ready and waiting for you.

Can I book a private class for a group of friends or a corporate event?

Yes, you can! We love a private flour party. Click here to get in touch and we'll sort out the details.
